FeuerTrutz 2026: GEZE presents new solutions for preventive fire protection

At the international FeuerTrutz trade fair on 24 and 25 June in Nuremberg, GEZE will demonstrate how fire protection requirements can be future-proofed using intelligent door, window and security technology in line with the motto “Connecting expertise – building solutions”. The focus is on innovative products that combine fire protection requirements with accessibility and convenient passage. Visitors can find GEZE at stand 4-333 in hall 4.0.

The new generation of door closers: TS 7000

Ahead of the planned market launch in autumn, GEZE will present the new TS 7000 door closer as the highlight of its trade fair appearance. The solution combines pioneering design with a high level of user convenience and innovative functions for enhanced accessibility. Equipped with GEZE Easyflow technology, the TS 7000 operates reliably and without readjustment even in safety-critical installation situations such as airlocks or escape routes – regardless of temperature or season. Thanks to its high efficiency, doors can be moved with very little effort, ensuring unrestricted accessibility in accordance with DIN 18040 and DIN Spec 1104. The universal 4-in-1 installation enables the use of a single door closer body for all four installation types. In addition, the new SNAPnFIX mounting plate makes installation easier for fabricators. More than one million tested cycles demonstrate the exceptional durability of the product.

Accessibility and safety: GEZE Powerturn F/R

The conflicting requirements of fire protection and accessibility often pose challenges for planners and building operators. With the Powerturn F/R, GEZE presents a drive solution that enables even the most stringent accessibility requirements to be implemented in a technically elegant way – even on doors in pressure-ventilated stairwells. If the hold-open system is triggered, opening is supported by the automatic drive both during manual use and at the push of a button. In the event of a local alarm, the door can be opened once more; it then closes safely in passive mode in accordance with fire protection requirements. This ensures that even people with reduced mobility can evacuate independently in an emergency. High accessibility requirements, for example those arising from the workplace regulations (ASR) applicable to the building, can thus be reliably fulfilled.

Efficient control: GC Lock Control SHEV

Intelligent coordination of all components is crucial for implementing safe SHEV supply air solutions. The GC Lock Control SHEV motor lock control unit serves as the central interface. It significantly simplifies planning and installation: by reducing the wiring to just two cables between the supply air door and the SHEV control panel, installation effort is minimised. The control unit is also highly flexible and compatible with all standard motor locks, making it the ideal solution for both new-builds and modernisation projects.
